Welcome to MMM 2019, the 25th International Conference on MultiMedia Modeling, which will take place on January 8-11, 2019, in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Now in its 25th year, the International MultiMedia Modeling Conference is a leading international forum for researchers and industry practitioners to share new ideas, original research results and practical development experiences from all multimedia-related areas. The MMM 2019 program is organized in several regular oral sessions, five special sessions, two poster and demos sessions, one industry session, the Video Browser Showdown session, one workshop, three invited keynote talks and two tutorials. 96 full papers are presented in the regular oral, poster and special sessions. In addition, six demonstrations, five industry papers, six workshop papers, and six VBS 2019 papers are presented in the corresponding sessions. Overall, MMM 2019 includes 119 contributions presented in oral, poster, or demo form, resulting in a rich program extending over four conference days.
